Telling your story

Telling your story

Every brand and product has to have a story.

Without one, your product good or service will feel meaningless to people.

It's becoming easier and easier to make things. Which is a blessing, but it also means that without something anchoring what you create, it can be wasteful. We don't need more product. We need more meaningful product. And one of the most impactful ways of creating meaning are having a technical innovation, and having a distinct point of view.

Artists across all mediums are defined more often than not, by their point of view. And that has to form the bedrock of your story.

Take time to think about how you view the world. What's important to you. What a good life looks and feels like. And how what you are making can fit and contribute to that picture.

If you're able to articulate that and bring people along with you on a journey that they can set off on themselves, then you'll be telling a great story.
